What I did so far to run a webserver

Installed Gentoox Home 3.0?(lastest dl offered)
ran magic (for the night) - power went out this morning but when i reran magic it said that it was up to date. SO i am not sure if it went out while it was still running or after it finished
Emerge apache -php ......from tutorial and followed instruction in tutorial
Emerge dyndnsupdate

My question is what else should I do to run a webserver? I basically just want to use it to create small web pages to keep up pratice and experiment and to host pics and stuff. I noticed some sites like shallax have a page that shows the stats of the xbox server..wicked cool can you tell me how to do that as well.....

I hate working when I want to mess around with gentoox its wicked cool

most ppl forget to search the forums for the same questions they ask, its not hard with gentoo, in fact its very easy. emerge is a cool tool, magic is killer and etc-update is a most.

i am still learning how to use GentooX, here at gentoox.shallax.com main page, from the Tutorials section, there's a mini-howto to install apache2.
i've installed mysql+apache2+php+phpbb+phpmyadmin+gallery all was working perfectly untill i decide to use a system monitoring tool GkrellM, shiut!.. i didnt quit understood how to use it so i decide to unemerge it. (emerge -C gkrellm) after..now i have a big problem i cant view my /htdocs/ pages.. cant view phpBB forums, no gallery..nothing!!!.. fuking wierd.. just to think that i might do it all again if i dont find a fix to thism it kills me.
php scripts that shows websites stats are everywhere on the net i guess, its easy to find them. As you can see when clicking Server stats, at the bottom of the page it shows what script it is using to display system informations.
