Monitor Power-Button on box for save shutdown

Hey!
I'm not sure, if I'm right here, but anyways... (Not a bad start for 1st posting, heh? :wink: )

Are you able to monitor the Powerbutton of the XBox (Is it ACPI-compliant?) and prevent the box from powering off immediately, and the going through a save shutdown?

I think, if the Box is ACPI-Compliant, I will manage to do this.... just have to wait, until my Pro-installation finishes (hehe, 1 1.4 GHz Pentium-M and 1 2GHz Pentium-M are doing the work through distcc, works pretty good) and then I will make a backup of my GentooX installation and then I will see, if I cannot get the damn bitch to shutdown cleanly...
I'll bee back soon, reporting, what I was able to do... :wink:

Unfortunately, its not possible since the xbox doesnt have ACPI at all - the power button sends no interrupts it just turns off.
The original Xbox adaptation of Gentoo
