Can't wait for it! (I know it is a known issue so I'll be patient...I have a lottofool around with in the meantime, but boy would evenoverscan adjustments comein handy!)

Ihave to say though, that I am *very* surprised and pleased with everything so far. Even using KDE is okay speed-wise for me, and I am amazed at all the features packed into it...stuff I don't even have in XP.

Now I see what all the fuss is about re: linux, and re: the xbox being a$200 computer to run it on.

lol I'm entering this note from my xbox via a wireless keyboard...who'da thunk?

Thanks for all of the hard work and cool, cool stuff!

What a dumb request... This is not possible until Microsoft give us the datasheet for the encoder... guess what isnt going to happen.

There is overscanned Xcalibur support already, but that may be as far as it ever goes.

Didn't mean to make a 'dumb request'

I'm sorry if my request sounded dumb, I perhaps should have prefaced it with the fact that I'm a noob. That being said, I read in the install tut tht one of the known issues was with respect to the no Xcalibur support re: overscan. This is why I made the request, and it was not to in anyway imply a lack of understanding of all of the work that has been done on Gentoox so far etc.etc., nor did I realize that such support would necessitate having info from Microsoft.
I was simply expressing that though I loved everything that Gentoox has to offer, theonly problem for my set-up is that the screen extends a bit off of the physical tv screen(thus the overscan comment).
So, I appologize if my post sounded 'dumb' or in any way offensive.
