hello all,

I've got a bit of a problem and as i'm a bit of a linux noob i dont know what to do.
Im stuck at the first boot script were you have to copy the word.
there doesnt seem to be a moving cursor and i cannot do anything

i'm using a gamester xpad

my install was from ftp i extracted the home distro.rar to E and the gentoox bios loads the linuxboot.cfg.

i've run magic from ssh, that took all morning.

any help will be apreciated

Do you havea regular Xpad, and have you tried that?
Your pad might not be supported yet.

well did a quick search found that the vendor id and what not aren't in the bios

this is the info that should be put in xpad.c

idVendor: 0x0E4C
idProduct: 0x1097
Radica Gamester Controller

i'm a super linux noob so i havent got a clue how to compile a cromwell cvs

so any help would be great

If you edit the file then do

cd /usr/src/linux
make oldconfig
make modules modules_install
