play audio cd with KDE

I can't get to play audiocds in KDE typing in audiocd:/ in konqueror gives me an error. "arror loading audiocd:/"
I have set KDE to use /dev/cdrom as audio device also I read to use the following command to see the problem

after sending the folowing command " cdparanoia -vaQ" I get
Checking /dev/cdrom for cdrom
...
Testing /dev/cdrom for cooked ioctl() interface
Device /dev/ide/host0/bus0/target1/lun0/cd is not a CDROM

Testing /dev/cdrom for SCSI interface
/dev/cdrom is not a SCSI device

However I can play audio cds with xine. I did not find out how xine found the cd drive, but this is now n my research list.

Anybody know how to setup audiocd kde with xbox?
