hmmm, i don't have my xbox yet, but i'm reading as much as i can already about running linux on an xbox.... so far i understand that the easiest way to install gentoox on an xbox is using a modchip and then flashing it with this cromwell bios, right?
and is there a way to install gentoox without a modchip? perhaps the ftp installation or am i wrong here..?

As long as you can run unsigned software you can install gentoox, you need some sort of modification but it can be a tsop flash or a software mod
