what is a focus xbox?

I am guessing a focus xbox is a 1.6 a/b. The only reason I think that's what it is is because this site says that the screen is messed up on "focus xboxs" and every time that I've installed gentoox on a v1.6 the picture appears off the screen. Well that is my first question and my second: Does any one know how to fix the screen on 1.6's? It's annoying because i own two box's and both are 1.6, one is a the other b.

I believe the focus video encoder is 1.2-1.5. The Xcalibur video chip is in the 1.6 box. There is a way to fix it, but I haven't used Gentoox in a while, do some searching.
