According to this link :
http://gentoox.shallax.com/modules.php? ... cle&sid=80

The file is available at Developer/Misc - which I guessed was "Dev and Sources" - however this page is not available.. anyone got a copy, or other source for this one?

Ahh.. apparently the firewall here at work blocked access to port 2002.. But when you gave me the url to the file - I was able to ssh into the xbox (at home) and wget the file directly..

Worked great! :-)

After fiddeling around with MRTG for a while - I'm pretty satisfied with the result - however... (there's always a catch)

I also use my xbox as a open-dp500 server (simple java app streaming music/video/pics to my Kiss 558 HDD recorder) - so now - every 5 minutes any videos I watch on the Kiss player gets laggy (!) after removing RTT (round trip time = ping) i got less lag - but it's still noticable..

Now..

Anyone got a tip how to adjust cron to start the checks "more evenly" and not all at the same time?? (I guess HDD IO/mem read/writes could do this)..

I have started experimenting with:
Making a larger script that executes all the MRTG commands - instead of running them all at once (each now has an entry in my .../crontabs/root file ...)

Any other tips? (ie wait command - to give the box more "breath" time between commands..)
