you need to give us more details my friend.

pro root would normally mean that you installed pro version of gentoox.

question to answer.
1. do you have a usb keyboard hooked to the xbox.
2. do you see a virtual keyboard on your tv screen.
3. do you have a pc and do you know how to ssh login
4. do you see an ip address on your tv screen something like 192.168.1.xxx

5. why do you want gentoox on your xbox...

Install the home version. You are obviously not a pro.

You see, you can get great benefit from reading the capital letters in the manual.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS THE PRO VERSION, IT IS ASSUMED YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH LINUX. THIS VERSION DOES NOT FEATURE ANY 'PRETTY' SCRIPTS TO HELP YOU MAINTAIN THE SYSTEM AND IT DOES NOT HAVE A PREINSTALLED GUI. INSTALLING A GUI SUCH AS KDE WILL TAKE AT LEAST 60 HOURS!
