Just wanted to know.. what can I uninstall from gentoox (and *how*) and still keep samba and webmin running top notch?

I think some GUI stuff (X?) is installed, and I want to get rid of it. All I need is to SSH and share my media. and maybe run and FTP server.

how to uninstall, read this: and then look for unmerge or clean...... what you can uninstall is up to your choice.... but remember that some packages are dependencies for others you might don?t want to lose, so that --depclean could be some kind of dangerous, use it with --pretend to get a list of probably unneeded packages....
