my xpad memory card wont copy mechinstaller

my xbox wont copy files from the memory card to the xbox, and thats how im supposed to install this thing, is it something to do with the verson of the xbox or somethin?

you're trying to copy the files via the dashboard, right?
what kind of memory card is it?
and you're formatting it using the right tools?
