I read the winex tutorial and it doesn t work for me!!!
when I type '' winex'' in a konsole I have this message:

Xbox root # winex
wine: lstat /root/.winex/wineserver-Xbox/socket : No such file or directory

I ran magic and emerge sync a couple of time so far and no changes!! how do i remove the old corrupted winex to install the latest version??

I believe that this has been already solved. Search a bit. PS, it is a very very bad idea to run winex as root.

Also, the winex from CVS (the free version) is development software, not fit for home use, and is very buggy. The costly version is stable.
