pc-cillin firewall prob

hi all, was just lookin up sum info on firewalls but havnt had much luck so far, i dont even know where to start being new to linux. whenever i have my firewall turned on i cant get internet access from the xbox, can ne1 help me configure somthing to help gentoox get past the firewall ?

give some more info about the firewall
is it hardware or software?
how is it connected to the network?
how is your xbox connected to the network?

hi nobspangle, its a software firewall the one with pc-cillin 2004 it is set as direct connection from pc to the net, my xbox is rigged with a crossover cable directly to the pc.

I don't know much about PC-cilin look for an option that says trusted networks and enter your xbox IP address in there.
