Flickering!

Hi i run gentttox or think it is running from cdboot on a modded xbox.
The damn thing is that i can't read the text on the tvscreen because it is shown like a badly adjusted tv-signal.
I don't know what this is but could it be because of using a pal-box?
when i press the A-Button on Controller it seems that the system is booting by too bad the text is unreadable.
How can i reoair this?
