trouble trying to ssh to box with focus

trouble trying to ssh to box with focus

hi im trying to get this going on my box have read the tutorial on focus boxes but every time i try to ssh to 192.168.1.13 i get a time out error.can someone please help still just a newb and must be doing something wrong.

Have you changed your PC ip to 192.168.1.xxx?
Have you a dhcp server? If yes unplug your xbox network cable, reboot and wait a couple of minutes until you plug it again

thank you that was very helpful. i was able to ssh to my box and run firstboot.i got all through that and my box restarted. but when i boot up gentoox up its still scrambled up. i know it worked i heard it start up and can see the virtual keyboard kinda jumping around everywhere. please help. this thing rocks but i cant get it lined out.

you need to ssh in again and run magic, then everything will become clear :)
