hey, i just magic'd up a clean install of home 3.0c and now it forces me to log in every time...
how do i set it to auto login (with gentoox or root)?

how can I do it with putty. I can not get past Session menue Default/Fail Safe
XVBSET keeps screwing me after magic. I have tried to in putty:
to magic fix displaytools && magic .
before that I tried in putty toXKfe and toKDE When I did that xvbset would start up and I have chosen all 3 choices and I am still not able to get past the login and pw. Please help

everything in linux is cAseSenSitIvE the commands are
tokde
toxfce
xbvset
the three choices in xbvset are
composite (this is for the bog standard cable that came with your xbox, and also for RGB cables like the UK advanced scart)
HDTV (this is for component cables Y,Cr,Cb on an HDTV running at 480p or 720p)
X2VGA (this is for people with an X2VGA adaptor for connecting their xbox to a monitor)
That gives three options and four types of cable supported, if you are not using one of these four types of cable, like S-Video, it won't work.
