Empty bar in XFCE?

Post by Rickz0rz »

So I used XFCE from the GentooX 3.0c install. All is going well. Then it happens. My mouse decides not to work. I reboot, all is fine. Some time later, I'm forced to unplug my Xbox, at which point I turned off GentooX, and did so. I plug it back in, and I turn it on... and my XFCE bar at the bottom of the screen (I have NO idea what it's name is), is completely empty! I can't do anything with it! I've looked through the options, etc. But the odder thing is, when I exited, XFCE crashed! Urgh. Nothing ever works for me.

Upgrade XFCE to 4.0.1: emerge sync && emerge -u xfce

To get your bar back, run "magic fix xfcepatch1" then "magic"
