Install on F drive

Post by Guest »

on the following page...
http://gentoox.shallax.com/pages/install.htm
... can I install using method 3, but instead ftp to the F drive? Method 3 De-Install says to delete from E or F or wherever you installed it.

Or when I move it to my E drive and launch the .xbe will it ask me where I want to install it?? Or after I FTP the files and launch the .xbe will I be running linux?

I have a bunch of stuff on my F that I don't feel like backing up to cd or dvd.

I'm not 100% sure on this , but I'm pretty sure that you need to install on E: first , and then run magic f: to get it on f .. FTP'ing directly to f won't work correctly , please if I am mistaken correct me.. =)

No, you wont lose anything when running magic f-drive ... It should be a totally safe script!
