any ideas why i cant get gentoox 2.1 home to run ?

pls help

im getting these errors come up on my tv as its loading and it dies

/mount :/cdrom/rootfs :no such file or directory
mount: could not setup loop device
/linuxrc: /etc/initd/dcvfsd:no such file or directory
/linuxrc: cannot open dev/console :no such file or directory
kernel panic : attempted to kill init.

if anyone can help this would be great im a linux n00b but i want to get this going and learn

xbox vrs 1 matrix mod installed by ftping the files to e: on xbox modifying evox.ini to point to the xbe
