removing kde

if i want to remove kde what is the best way to get rid of everything?

I've never installed it, but normally you would

emerge unmerge kde (and all the rest kde-base etc)

As far as I am aware, you have to unmerge all the libraries etc manually.

I guess you could get rid of most of it that way ....

I'd backup my config files from /etc and reinstall just the 'pro' version of gentoox and then load the new fluxbox-cvs (its great!).
