Help a n00b with Focus install

Okay...I copied xromwell.xbe to /e/ then I use boxplorer to launch it. screen goes green and i get install screen. insert stardust and linux starts loading. i get to (and beyond) "avocado" then LED tests. prob is that everything on the extreme left of the screen gets cut off so I can't see the (i assume) install options and all of my guess work has caused the box to reboot. somebody help me get this working PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!
