Hi, I'm new to gentoox, and have hit the problem that a USB device I want to try needs the 2.6 kernel.
As it doesn't seem to be supported here, but the Fedora-xbox peeps seem to be doing ok, I'm having a play with the xbox 2.6 kernel on sourceforge.
To save me a lot of time, could somebody who has a 2.6 gentoox install give me their initrd.gz file - the vmlinuz and .config would be useful too before I am drawn to the darkside that is Fedora:)
TIA
2.6 initrd file needed
No worries.
I found http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_Gentoo_for ... ox_Profile and it looks like the way to go to me, cromwell.xbe supports reiserfs so I have mutated my gentoox install over to native.
I've actually never used a 2.4 install of gentoo, so have been pretty lost in Gentoox:)
