Just a thought, has anyone else bought a dreamx on the forum? What you using it for? I bet the dreamx team are worried about the 1.6 with no ram upgrade option, bet they will have to salvage old mobos :p.

Looks like you will have to reinstall Gentoox. Once you have done this run magic (fully update) then run magic f drive and it should work. Is your hard drive setup 137<?

I had a similar problem once. You might have to reinstall or download the new bios and run sparkle, try sparkle first. Did it switch of (power cut) without shuting down properly once?

If your xbox is on a network you could just run putty and rerun xbvset (after running magic) and see if your troubles are fixed. What version is your xbox, 1.4+ use a focus chip.

Did you burn the CD as an Image file? Try burning at the slowest speed possible and on to CDRW. Download the new sparkle bios .

Would you just have to simply remount F:\? I'd just use a file manager would be a lot easier .
