One thing you could do is convert your lines to ISDN, when you do this telstra will give you a NT1+2 modem which works pretty good in linux, you will also be able to get 64K and 128K connections :]

Just one last question, of all of the xbe's that are installed onto e: none of them is named "linux.xbe" ? i already have an xbe of that name there doing something else, so i just want to make sure its not going to be overwritten by gentoo?

How do you add the linux item to the evox menu? where is the xbe to boot linux?
