wooop

Will apply a large dollop of caution when attempting the upgrade blighty

Just noticed stashed away in a corner of employers workshop a hot air solder station, that'll make the job MUCH easier :D I'm guessing some desolder wick would be the best method of freeing the chip legs from the pads?

a little question........

I've been wanting to do that upgrade for a while, but couldn't find a source for those chips so gave up.
Are there any decent sources around for these still?

cheers

thanks for that!
Will do what you suggest, incidentally anyone using the xecutor 2.6 variety of modchip take note it might not upgrade properly with the normal procedure, unless im doing something completely brainless of course!

unable to boot after upgrading bootloader through magic

Really puzzled about this, maybe someone can point me in the right direction as to how to fix it. Magic seemed to run fine, although I didnt pay too much attention to the progress which may be my downfall! Upon rebooting, i could only select the DVD boot icon, seems like the loader won't detect anyt...

I want mldonkey to be able to use the f drive to store temp files and completed files as the linux partition isn't big enough. My rootfs is on the e drive. I've tried to chown appropriat...

long filenames?

I seem to have a problem copying mp3's with long filenames over to my xbox (from WinXP). The error message is "invalid file handle"

Is there something I need to change in Samba config in order to get around this? Or is it a problem with the fatx file system?

Thanks
