Ok so I ran magic on a my gentoox, i believe this is the first time on this install. it forces a emerge sync, ok thats fine its the frist one.
it updates portage, and then it starts with the kernal.
its updating the kernal to i believe 2.4.2.2
but it fails, i forget the error message, it was quite vague.
i tried again and it craps out. same thing as last time,
my alsa and intel drivers??? are not ok.
can i run magic and have it not update the kernal ?
how can i update the kernal and not have it break ?
