'Jerky' sound in flash plugin...

Post by leonov »

I've almost got my XBox doing everything I want it to. The one thing I'm missing is the ability to watch Strongbad on TV! (see http://www.homestarrunner.com).

Using the installed (macromedia) plugin under Mozilla (or Konqueror for that matter) I see the plugin just fine, but the sound, while understandable, is, for lack of a better word, 'Jerky'...

I've messed around with KDEs audio settings, and tried running Mozilla under artsdev, as suggestion by the KDE tips, all to no avail. The same setup with my main Gentoo Box downstairs (a PC) works beautifully.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Cheers,

Leon

its probably due to lack of ram/resources try using xfce/icewWM (there you go Sniper Fox before you mention it :P) that will regain you some ponies

I have the same problem in XFCE! And funny thing, I was also looking at HomeStar. Have you heard the intro? Evv-vvv-bb-ddd-grbl-evv-ddd-ggg-!
