I have recently gone back to my xbox to see if i can update it.
I have been running XBMC (latest varient), have it networked and watch and listen to media saved on my windows server.
Now I have scanned linux things and xbox and am I correct to say I can now run:
1 - Linux or MCE
2 - Connect a TV card to my Xbox
3 - Record TV onto my xbox.
If this is right how do i go about it.
i have a chipped X3 xbox, what next Linux or MCE.
i want my xbox to run Ninan to download binaries (linux varient available), but would like to connect my tv to it if poss.
Please direct me

Ok then can you advise if I am able to do this.
I would like to run Ninan (http://www.ninan.org) to download binaries and extract them on my xbox, Linux would be usefull as I could do this.
But can i say select and run linux from the dashboard (or selected bios (buttons on front). Then run ninan, let it download, then reboot and use XBMC?

I don't know Ninan at all - but sure, you could start up linux, run <linux app> then shutdown the linux, run xbmc - but ofcourse not be able to use the <linux app> anymore (until you restart linux) - you get the idea.. - Just as you would if you multibooted a PC with linux/windows.
There is nothing really fancy about gentoox (or any other xbox linux distro) it just turns your old xbox into a linux box. There is ofcourse hardware "limitations" as the console wasn't really meant to do this.
