I'm running the latest version of Pro, using it as a small webserver for some personal projects of mine. I want to add some more functionality.
I want to be able to SSH into the xbox (keyboard/mouse hooked up the the box isn't a viable solution for me), run some sort of console-based media player (don't want to waste cycles with X), and have the music play out of the speakers hooked up to the xbox.
Since I want to do this through SSH, is this even possible?
If not, I suppose I'd also be willing to set up some sort of web-based media player, if you guys have any good suggestions.
Yes it is possible, I do it all the time through normal PC's. I use mpg321 or mpg123 (same thing really). Assuming your sound drivers are right and hardware is correct.
