unleashx 1.6 box overscan fix?

i dont know exactly the complications of the 1.6 box overscan problem...but in the unleashX dashboard...theres an option to resize the screen...and then you manually resize it by moving the corners (this can also correct off center screens)...could this not be inplemented in gentoox as an overscan fix?...seems to me like its a god idea...if it cant be done....just out of curiosity....could anyone tell me y? thanks

the way that gui's work in linux, i dont believe this is possible. it has to be set values (640x480 etc)

aw man......hmm....it should be i bios tool....if you have the gentoox loader have the ability to resize your screen.....and then emulate that as 640x480 in linux.....make it think that the bios resized screen is a regular screen size....would that work?
