I want Gentoox, But i don't want it's bios/kernel

I don't have a modchip.
I have flashed my xbox's bios.
I cannot flash them again, I want to use Gentoox. It boots up loading kernel failed, system hault :-/

have you tried a clean install through the ftp method [for a second time] ? and you are sure you put it in the root [/E/]

ftping the files back over, everything i extracted from distro is ftping to e (not i'm not ftping the distro folder, but the items in it.)

It goes to options screen (like before)
I select Fatx, then Boot Gentoox.
Then the first thing comes up loading kernel /vmlinuz (or something very simliar) .... (!) in red
System halt!

Then nothing happens...

It just blinks red and i can't do anything.

As i was informed it's not the kernel i dont want but the bios. I didnt have enough room to fully extract the package. Man i feel stupid :-/ I guess endless hours of tv tend to take up hard drive space? anyhow i cleared up room and will shortly retry.
