FATX 32k clusters still a problem?

I know this probably gets asked all the time (i haven't tried on the new Jan release kernel), does the FATX corruption problem still occur on partitions with 32k clusters (in my case a large G / hda56)? It would be nice to be able to use extract-xiso on this partition to reduce ftp activity ;)

Plus the ability to have GentooX's RootFS images on G would be nice as well...

There must by SOMEONE who knows the answer to this, or how to diagnose what is going wrong. And yes, i have googled extensively....And no, i can't post any URL's which come close to the answer :P :P

Good question... fancy being a guinea pig? ;)... I always thought FatX 32 worked fine...
