Command line question.

When Gentoox boots up it starts at the command line. I have tried to use init 5, tell init 5, startx, but none of these commands get me to a graphical mode of runlevel 5. Im used to working with fedora core. When I type init 5 it outputs that it is switching to runlevel 5 but right away it returns to the command line. I am using the pro version of gentoox on version 1.1 of an xbox. It is softmodded using the generation x dashboard. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

That'll be because you are using pro and not home!!!!!
