k, i'm dumb (gentoox loader)

so, how the heck do i move these files onto my usb drive.
I've got the Gentoox loader zip d/l'd, i opened it and see the files, but i don't know what to do with them.
I have managed to get A linux installer to work (the one on the wiki pages, tried to load xebian, failed).
I got the linux tab, couldn't get xebian to load, it just kept saying it couldn't recognize the disc.
I would rather use gentoox, but I don't know how to get the loader files on my usb stick in a format it won't erase.
I can't seem to get MaxDrive or ActionReplay to read the stick, but ozxmemory will write to it, but as a 64 and not a 128.
The only tutorials I can seem to find are people making the full switch, I only wanna do a softmod where I can still use the games, what little i play them.
I just wanna be able to play DVDs and video files on it and not have to go find a computer to watch my avi's.
