Can't boot

Post by Bloodletting »

Hi,

I downloaded Gentoox Home 5, made an FTP install (F install, changed the cfg file to F) and launched Gentoox Loader. Then, when I select FatX install, it just stays stuck at first step. It shows "Boot: Loading kernel/vmlinuz" but with two red exclamation marks between brackets, something like this:

[!!]

Then it just stays like that. What should/can I do/have done wrong?

Thanks in advance.

PS: I have the 1.6 xbox

You need the latest version of Gentoox Home for this to work (version 6/6a).

The fact that its showing [!!] next to "Loading kernel 'vmlinuz'" means that you do NOT have "vmlinuz" in E:\ as the installation instructions state.
