I'm going to need some help configuring proftpd. I've been reading other posts, the gentoo wiki, but I'm still confused and it hasn't answered my questions. I have a v1.6 xbox with gentoox home 4.0 installed to e: . On install, I enabled proftpd, so I dont think I have to emerge it again. I looked in /etc/proftpd/proftpd.conf, and the last thing was something like <Document>, or something close to that, I didnt change anything. But what I'm confused by is how you add users to proftpd. Because when you install, it says the user/pass for proftpd is gentoox/xbox. But I didn't see any reference to that in proftpd.conf. So how would I add a new user? Basically, I want to give this user access to /mnt/fatx. Could someone give me the instructions on how to do this?
