Transpose option in overscan fix?

Post by va1210 »

XBVSET offers the option to scale the width/height of the screen, but what I would also like to do is move the screen a bit to the right (I have a piece of crap TV that has the picture tilted way to the left). Is there some way of doing this?

You could be doing that... just search the forums.

There is no option to set the X/Y coordinates of the top left of the screen.

Ok, that's a shame. Vplayer: are you refering to (the apparently deprecated) xbv, or did you have some other solution in mind? I really did search the forum, but couldn't find any currently supported method of doing this..

xbv's functionality has been incorporated into the kernel (hence its deprecation). xbv provided no such option either. There is literally no option for this, if you want to work out the algorithm to do this go for it!
