Flashed bios but returns to original screen

I have tried to find the answer to this already but have not found the answer yet so if you have a real answer thank you. I have the Xecuter 2.6 chip and the Gentoox Home Edition disc, I have flashed the bios by disk and it all seemed to work as the instructions posted on teamxecuter says, however when I power the xbox back on it goes to the same blue screen asking for the bios to be flashed instead of the X screen as listed in the instructions. Instead of "success" I get the same screen from when I started. My HDD is now partitioned and I have tried it by ftp as well and still the same results. Can anyone help?

are you flashing your xecuter with Flashbios? or Cromwell?

either case, flash with this file Loader.bin

By "X" screen you mean a hacked bios, you wont find that here, check x-s.com
as for running Gentoo Gnu/Linux follow the link above

Flashbios is only used to aid in flashing to a different bios than the one that most modchips are shipped with. You wont get much functionality other than that with flashbios.

What are you looking to do with the chip, install and run Linux? or "alternative" things?

He's looking to flash illegal bioses. *Locked*
