Is there some kind of VGA adapter I can buy for my Xbox so I can get 800x600, and 1024x768 on my VGA monitor and have it look regular PC quality? Are there any USB modems that I can connect to my Xbox to dial up my ISP and get on the internet? The GentooX install disks for sale on LinuxCDs are CD-ROM right? If I use cromwell as my BIOS, will I be able to format the entire Xbox harddrive and use Linux on it, without any MS stuff on it? Would Fluxbox be a nice WM to use on it, with maybe a couple transparent aterms, and gaim, and firefox running without too much lag? Where are some USB xbox adapters I can get to plugin my keyboard and mouse? Thank you.
Howdy, you can get an addapter but i think it will still be fuzzy, i saw a link to one on http://www.xbox-scene.com, i can use mine though ma computer using a video capture card and a s-video adapter. Its blury becuase of how the pal format works, im not sure if it has this problem when its set to HDTV.
You can buy xbox ->> usb addapters on http://www.ebay.com these on on long cables though, if ya just want a little plug i got ahold of some from http://www.ozxodus.com which are nice(was awhile ago dunno if they are still around, too lazy to check heh).
I dont see why you coudnt use a usb modem running through gentoox, just make sure its supported first, check http://www.gentoo.com for that i think.
