alright. Im TehSocks I build computers mod em etc...

Now its time for me to move onto the xbox and I just need some advice here.

I want to install gentoox onto my xbox for a low price. I will spend upto $50ish (Canadian) on stuff to get this objective complete. People have been telling me I should buy an action replay and do the old Mech Installer way. Would this be the most efficient way of doing it.

I dont have a mod chip. And dont wanna buy one right now. Is this still possible.

I would also like to change the hardrive in my box to a 15gig Quantum Fireball 4500RPM i just got layin around my house. Can someone explain to me the best way for this to be done.
