Got Xbox v.1.3 but xbvset only allows 640x400

Got Xbox v.1.3 but xbvset only allows 640x400

hi there i got a xbox v.1.3 but xbvset only allows the resolution 640x400 with the conexant video encoder.can someone tell me what to do?

Run "video" from a console... which encoder does it say you have?

My v1.3 runs at 800x600 composite, just for info!

Hi,

You can have a v1.3 but it depends on what video chip you have. Once he types the command video and gets the chip name we can confirm whether it will support anything different..

If its an Xcalibur chip, you cannot get 800x600 resolution.
