Gaim not connecting...

A place to ask all newbie questions and not get flamed, though you will get beaten down if you post a newbieish question outside of these walls.

Gaim not connecting...

I used Gaim on KDE once in the past and it worked fine. But now when I try to connect it just freezes at the "Connecting" screen. The internet works fine, I tested it using mozilla. Why won't it let me connect? The server and port to connect to aol are right and i have the proxy off, so what's the problem???
