Linux works on the xbox but windows does not, who here would run windows on their xbox over linux if it was possible?

It's not a full distro but its good, Still needs lots of work,

I don't think it's made from scratch it's just a version of Windows CE for the xbox.
The license allows for distribution amongst friends as long as neither person is receiving financial gain, I'm sure if it ever becomes useable Microsoft will soon clamp down.

Windows CE is trash, I'm sorry... but it just is. Dont expect to be playing any proper PC games on it, or using a full version of IE, outlook, excel, word... etc. because thats NOT what windows CE is. It's a totally cut down version of Windows. It is by no means a replacement for Linux. Though the poll is a good idea, you cant really compare Linux to windows CE.

No, youll never be able to run windows xp for one reason.... RAM. It needs at least 192MB to be useful. Then you have to get by memory sharing if you use vmware (bochs just wont work) so even if you have 128mb, youll only get to use about 32-64 for winxp. So it just wont work.
