New spider chip?

I saw something about a solderless chip for 1.6.
I've been looking for one of those for my 1.6. Is it worth it? Does it work? Could I run Linux using it?

You can run linux using any chip, and yes it works.
Is it worth it? That's a personal decision.
If you're just looking to run linux, then look into a software exploit (UXE is a good one). You don't have to open your Xbox or mess around with the mobo at all.
