The Windows Key Refund Project
Uhh . . . I guess I was drunk with rage at Microsoft when I made this post at JL.

A: You run magic by not typing in capital letters.

They all managed to totally miss your point.
I wonder if keyboard manufacturers have to pay Microsoft to put the keys on the keyboard, in which case it seems a bit strange to only sell keyboards with them on.
I can't complain because I use Windows and couldn't do without my windows keys.
You could buy a Sun keyboard but they have even more pointless keys, like stop. Or you can use a Mac keyboard but they are the worst as they don't even have all the keys a standard keyboard has (F13,14,15 instead of print screen, scroll lock and pause break), and they have the mac keys on them.
What you could do is send the keys to Microsoft and demand they replace them with blank ones, then you could use them how you wanted.
Microsoft would emply special crack teams of staff capable of recognising Windows keys from thousands of brands of keyboards. The ones sent back would be melted down recycled and used as insert keys on new keyboards (now that is the most pointless key on a keyboard)

If you keep an open mind, will your brain fall out?
