Vga help
First of all I did a search here and found some topic regrading VGA , but nothing help me yet.
I am a newbie and i have a few questions about running gentoox on VGA
I have install the homw make vga cable and everything run fine. However i can't get Gentoox to run.
I install the Gentoox, and it install fine, after i reboot, and it start up still fine, however when it is going to the Xfce gui, the monitor when black, it say "out of sync". can anyone tell me how to get it working? I put the xbox back on TV and it start up fine.
By the way it is a V1.0 Xbox.
TIA for all the help.

you can set it on you TV then move it back to the monitor, but that is a lot of messing around. SSH is very easy to use download putty from here and save it to your windows\system32 directory then click start>run and type "putty -ssh xbox" you can then log in to the xbox using username root and password xbox and run xbvset
If you keep an open mind, will your brain fall out?
