wireless keyboard on gentoox

Post by mlapaglia »

if i have a wireless keyboard and mouse hooked up to my xbox going through one usb port, will gentoox be able to realize that i am doing this? i hooked it up once and it worked in evox, but i restarted and it wont work, i started up gentoox to see if it would work there and it wont. do i need to get JUST a wireless keyboard with no mouse, or do i need to not use wireless at all.

im using the logitech wireless keyboard and mouse duo btw. i have read posts where people say it works for them. did i do something wrong during the install? i soldered the wires straight from the in game controller port to my own usb port, are all the wires (cept for the yellow one) soldered straight from one to the other or do i need to cross some to make it work? it worked the first time but it wont work anymore

Im using a logitec wireless keyboard and have no issues. It works great.

To pieces of advise.

1 check your wiring connections
2. make sure you sync your keyboard and mouse with the usb adapter.

Hopefully that helps
