I have a pblm with the date in my gentoox. Everytime I start it the date i set to 1 hous back.. I live in germany. Even if I set the correct time and synchronized it with the hwtime command it's set back to one hour earlier..what could be the pblm?

ln -sf /usr/share/zoneinfo/path/to/germany /etc/localtime
emerge ntpdate
ntpdate a-german-ntp-server

I did'nt try ur soluion....but I did the date -s command with the correct timezone and now it's right...
