Why am I unable to view the C drive on My Network Places in Windows XP Professional? It appears to be blank but I can view and manipulate files on the E and F drives. I asked this question on the old forum but got no response.
Thanks ShALLaX for such a fine Xbox Linux distro. Also for the new forum; it looks great and is much faster!

Sorry your question got wiped (i broke the forum DB oops )
What you need to do is run "mount /mnt/fatx/c" then try accessing it with samba - this should work fine. What you can do is edit /etc/fstab and get rid of the ",noauto" on the /mnt/fatx/c entry - after you do this, C drive will be accessible after each reboot (The only reason ive set it to noauto is for security reasons, you dont want people wiping your C drive!)

Thanks, ShALLaX
Thanks, ShALLaX for the reply. No problem about the question getting wiped; I didn't mean that in a derogatory manner.
Again, thanks for the advice and keep up the good work!
P.S. That worked like a charm!
