I'm pretty much a linux noob but I've used uBuntu before and there was one thing about it that I liked a lot and that was the Synaptics Package Manager.

Is there something like this available for Gentoo?

Found what one. PORTHOLE, though it's a masked app... seems to be working just fine for me. Anyone know of any others?
